Woooooot. i just got my per diem pay for my tour in afghanistan (~$1300) . and it's all going to the GT. what should i buy????

or should i just put that money on the principal of the car?

Is it an auto or manual? The optimal gearing is 4:10's for a manual and 3:73's for an auto.

are you sure that's not backwards? anyway, i'll be getting a s/c on down the road so if i don't stick with my 3.55s then i'll get 3.73s.

Well in that same line of thinking dont get a cai and tuner either, the supercharge will come with a cai and youll need another tune. Just put it towards the supercharger.

edit: and the s/c won't be coming until after the next deployment. i don't want to feel like i'm strapped for cash, you know?

well, since i will be gettin a blower on down the road, i think i'm going to mostly focus on suspension. are there any good kits out there that will leave me with enough dough for gears and a shifter?

Probably for one or the other, but not gears AND a shifter.

But keep in mind bro, if you get gears, then you will need the tuner anyway to calibrate the speedo.

And it will be useful for him to have a tuner when he gets a S/C so he can make future adjustments like tire size, save his S/C tune and his stock tune so if he ever has to go back to stock, and check for trouble codes.

Yes, and I contemplated stating that, but quite often when you purchase a supercharger, the kit comes with a hand held tuner.

that BMR lowering package looks a lil more appealing. good point about the gears. but, don't most s/c's have a "tuner kit" that excludes tuners and other odds and ends?
