Plenum cover or strut brace??
I want your opinion on what you would buy. I like the plenum cover for cosmetics which is a big thing to me as i already own one show car and will show the stang eventually. I also like the strut brace for a little handling improvement and it also looks pretty sweet.
what to do, what to do?

Do both, that's what I'm doing. You can use the plenum cover and the Steeda V6 strut tower brace together. It looks good and functions perfectly. Just make sure that you order the V6 strut tower brace, the V8 will not clear the cover.

Both. If you have to choose one, the brace. Performance over looks.

We live only once and if Mustang tuning is your only vice, why not do both?

It's either or. Can't do both obviously because of clearance.

It is posible to do both.
There was a post a few days back when one of the members showed you how to do both the cover and the strut tower brace. Heres a link: http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/plenumCvr.htm |

You don't have to modify the cover if you use the Steeda strut tower brace for the V6. Why alter the cover if you dont have to.

The article in that link modified the cover for use with the Throttle body space, not the strut bar.
I used the Granatelli strut bar brace and it fit fine without any modifications. The clearance was tight. To increase the clearance, I just simply moved the studs in the rear so they would fir over the plenum cover instead of the other way arounf. This will give you about another 1/2" of clearance. |

IMO go with the Strut Brace - BlueOvalIndustries.com has a niiice double chrome one . I don't like the plenum covers - they look to me like they may retain the radiating heat off the intake plenum. In addition, the FAST high flow intake plenum will be hitting the market soon and I would not want to cover that up!
