Replacing tail light bulb on an '06 GT with the 1000watt soundsystem.

Am I going to have to remove the entire woofer in the trunk to get to the tail light?

:O

I installed sequential tail lights and covers without removing my shaker 1000 sub.

Yes you need to. I just did this a couple days ago.

You just need to unbolt the subwoofers, not the amps.

There are four bolts on the subs and 3 on the tail light. I believe the bolts on the subs were 12mm and 10mm for the tail lights.

And the instructions in the manual don't tell you how to do it with the Shaker 1000.

It is more complicated than it should be, but not too bad. Took me maybe a half hour.

If you have any more questions, just ask.

also: the bulbs will twist counter clockwise to get them out. about a 90 degree turn

I just looked at mine, and maybe its different in the '07 but I don't need to remove anything but the back cover of the tails. Plenty of room between the sub and the light.

There is access to all three bolts?

Maybe it is different.

I guess, I don't know. Maybe they realized how much of a pain in the ass it was. Of course, the '07 has many other flaws try replacing the headlights! Now that's a workout.
