Mac Prochamber

I am looking to get the Mac Prochamber part# PC2105. I still have the stock headers and cats with the Roush axle back exhaust. I have a few questions before I order them.

1. Will I need a tune being that I have a Roushcharger and Roush tune?
2. Is it worth the buy?
3. Are there any gains in power?
4. If I get everyone's blessings, where to purchase the prochamber from?

Give me your opinions please. Thanks

the prochamber itself to splice into the stock cats right?

No tune.

Guys have said you can feel it. I felt the splice in x pipe. same thing. but very very slight, its more like the engine just revs better. At your power level i would say the difference would be noticable

gains I would say 3 to 5 hp maybe more since you are blown.

I sell it, or a lot of people sell it. The prochambers themselves could still be had the last time i checked. but they only had 2 and that was two weeks ago. Mac long tubes and any legs for the prochambers are on a very long back order.

I'll give the Prochamber a ringing endorsement. I can't say I noticed any gains in seat of the pants dyno with the PC alone, but the sound definitely improved. Recently I went from a catted PC and stock manifolds to an off road PC with MAC LT and that I noticed in power and sound........BIG TIME. If you can go off road, I would recommend it. I don't really care for the polar bears anyway.

Good luck finding the MAC stuff, I ordered the LT from BlowByRacing and got their last set about a month ago. The off road legs I ordered directly from MAC and it took'em two weeks.

same time I ordered the LT, about a month ago. I asked MAC about the LT and they said they were on a one month back log. The legs were on a two week back log. And two weeks later they were at the door. I called around and just got lucky with BBR having a set of LT sitting on the shelf.

I agree with this. Every post I have read where the owner goes from stock H to the splice in Prochamber has not been completely positive. Most owners say it almost sounds the same except a little quieter and a little deeper. O/R prochamber and stock H is a big difference in sound. If you want to keep it smog legal, get hi-flow cats welded in.

Huh? Doesn't the Prochamber replace the stock H?

PM me as well please, Rich, with a Mac PC2105 price (Splice-in prochamber used with stock cats). I also have to have cats - emissions testing in Atlanta.

They do replace the stock H. There are two different prochambers for those with shoties or the stock manifold. One splices into the stock cats and the other is an o/r midpipe.

That is what I thought. I posted the quesiton because the other guy said "prochamber with factory H...and I was thinking it is one or the other.
