Knocking sound

So when im sitting in my car with it at idle sometimes it will make a knocking sound. It comes and goes but it sounds like its coming from the transmission area and it goes away when i engage the clutch. It started after the cams cause i guess the car shakes alot more idk. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Its deffinatley the throw out bearing. My car does it, did it real loud before i replaced the throw out bearing. the rough idle just brings it out. Nothing really to worry about. As long as it goes away or gets quiter when you engage the clutch.

(Throw out bearing is part of the slave cylinder)

It goes away completely after like 30 seconds most of the time and immediatly when i engage the clutch. Thanks Rich.

Yea thats all it is. dont know why its more pronounced at times and i hate it.

The TOB is always noisey on my car for the day i bought it. But the cams with that thumpy idle makes the tob nois thump thump thump
