Some new Goodies for the Edelbrock E-Force car
Took the car out for some testing last friday Night and it was HOT. Ran a best of 10.19, but in our tune we are pulling timing once IAT gets over 100*, so wanting to keep all the timing in it we can, we went ahead and ordered a new S/C coolant tank from Canton and got a Battery relocation kit from our local parts house.
For the coolant tank, we are moving the battery to the trunk to make room for it, but it will allow us to run an extra 2 gallons of coolant as well as pack her with Ice before each run, getting us alot cooler IAT temps in the process. For the Battery relocation, we choose to go with 1 gauge welding wire, and 4 Gauge welding wire for the Alternator wire. We got a Moroso Battery on/off pull switch from Moroso and are going to install it thru the Passanger side tail Light for a clean install and look. we are going to have to run some wires to the ignition for the on/off switch to kill power to everything, I'll get pics of everything once it's done. Here are some pics of the install going on.

Some updates on the progress of the Edelbrock car:
Got the new cooler in, and I must say.......It works like a Dream!! Keeping IAT's down ALOT more and allowing us throw some more timing at it. Put an Odyssey Battery in the trunk and saved some more room for weights. Today the order was placed for a BMR K-Member and Anti-Roll bar to help lighten this pig up and allow it to hook correctly instead of rolling Hard like it's been doing. Should be out making some more test passes with a new tune up this next weekend and will let everyone know when we hit the 9's were after. It has been HOt here, in the 103+ every day for the last 2 weeks, so weather is not great, but I think we can get it into the 9's without any issues next weekend.
