Roush Rear Leveling Springs Install

Well...I just finally installed my Roush springs and BMR adjustable panhard on Saturday. I'm really pleased with the change in stance. I only swapped the rear springs out for the Roush 1" drop springs that make the gap in the rear match the front. Here are a few comparison pics for those who might be interested in evening up the stance but not dropping the car on all four corners. Total cost between the springs and panhard was $255 shipped. The springs were only $120 of that cost. My rear end was off by 1/4" which was the reason for the adjustable panhard.

Terrible lighting, but you get the idea.

very nice i have the same springs just waiting for my QA1 shocks to come in so i can do it all together...did you notice a good bit of performance added while driving after the install??

So are you only running lowering springs on the rear? The front is stock? Your tribute looks awesome btw...really clean

Looks amazing Luke...You wouldnt think an inch drop would make that much difference, but it most certainly does...nice work

Just feels much more firm in regards to the ride and in cornering. I was expecting the front and rear to feel alot different going over bumps and cornering but the response feels pretty uniform.

Yes...only swapped out the rear springs. Alot of people over on StangNet as well as Stage II over here are running the same set up. It is only an inch in the rear, but it completely changes the angles on the car's stance. I would estimate that the rear decklid actually sits about 3" lower now.

Yes, they will work fine with the rest of your stock suspension components.

The part # is 401295. You can buy them from Summit or save around $25 and buy them here:

BTW...I was wrong on the price that I wrote above. They were only $120 shipped not $125. That makes the total cost $255. Be warned though...the springs are not kept in stock by the ebay seller. They were drop shipped directly from Roush. They were on backorder when I purchased mine so it took nearly 3 weeks to receive them.

Thanks Nasty.

The camera is a Nikon D40...the full shot of the car could be much better though. I was shooting in the shade towards the sunlight in the early afternoon which really caused the highlights and shadows to be too heavily contrasting. I was just trying to get a pic to post and didn't wait until the right time of day.

I'll get a few really good pics up in the next couple days. Just need to shoot in the late evening when the lighting's better.

Those were all shot as JPEGS. I don't know why, but I just don't like shooting in RAW that much.

The first two shots probably don't have any adjustments other than a slight tweak to the contrast. The full car shot was edited pretty heavily because it was so washed out due to the bright light. I normally just use Picasa and Photoshop Elements 6.0 for simple editing and adjustments.

There are quite a few of my photos over in the photo contest thread if you want to check out some other shots with that camera.
