Going to test and tune at MIR to test out the mods.

So I am going to MIR this SUNDAY at 1000am for shake down runs and see what I can cut with all my mods. Hoping for at the very least a 12.8. Do you guys think I can get it?

Full bassani exhaust (LT's,x-pipe, race ab's)
airaid/brenspeed tune
3.73's
spydershaft
meziere

I was planning on going...gonna play with tire pressure and shift points (might try to powershift) and see how deep into the 11's I can get

Oh yeah, what tires do you have? If you can hook you should hit 12.8's no problem.

oh I have the stockers. But I am looking at running about 20 psi maybe less with a mild burnout. Can't wait to see that whipple run!

not even dr's?? doubt you'll get into 12's at all... even if baby out hole, slamming 2nd and 3rd gonna spin... and w/ 3.73's.. no chance to recover.

im guessing 13.3's at 109

Idk I think I can get her out of there with a 1.9 or 1.8 60ft. So it is all the engine after that. I will be shifting about 6300 every time. So Hopefully I can break 13's. If I had dr's I would be cutting some nice times.

It's gonna be close. D/R's would def. help. Best of luck to you, let us know how it goes. I need to wait until it cools down here to even go to the track, its soo hot here in vegas, its not really worth going. Its been hitting 110-113 during the day and doesnt cool off much at night when they run. Plus, our elevation makes our times a little higher. I wish I could run in cool temps at sea level, that would be nice!

The best 60ft times I ever got with my street tires was 2.17, leaving off idle. Chad is 100% correct. The 1-2 shift was an adventure, powershifting sent me on a beeline towards the wall (not fun btw), I had to baby the hell out of the shift...that was pre-Whipple as well. I will say I'm not the best driver in the world and I do have some physical issues with my leg. So there's some hope! Worst comes to worst if you bring a jack with you I'll bring some jackstands and you can use my dr's for a couple runs if you want.

I cut a low 1.9 60ft in my last GT with 3.55's. I should be able to cut a 1.9 or a 1.8. I can drive. I'm not going to say I am amazing, but it comes easy to me. I hope I get a 12 something. That is all I am shooting for on the street tires.

yes, but you are making more power, steeper gears... the street tires hurt more now than before... trust US... get some dr's before the weekend and have a good time; you'll wish you did

what did you run before mods? Ill bet you run same, but w/ higher mph.

shit you are right.........oh well I am still going. I would get radials but I am going on leave sunday night so can't afford them. Need money for booze and bitches(by bitches I mean ladies)............

Usually theres someone at the track that'll let you make a run on their dr's for a couple bucks
