All I can say is I beat the ever living fuck out of my car every single day. I have the Hurst Comp. plus shifter.........not the fancy billet one. I was just out driving the ever living piss out of it about an hour ago. You don't think I drive hard??? The damn car came airborn and the BACK tires came off the ground while I was WOT............It hit the rev limiter fairly fast, and came down hard. (I saw red and blues)..........But all in all, I beat my car to death. I can shift it pretty damn fast, and have NEVER had a trans problem. Im still on the factory clutch too.

I havn't even watched ken's video. I'm not going to say he is a bad driver. It might be a mechanical problem. A good friend of mine has the MGW and he can shift faster than me. BUT I have seen a few of the MGWs have bushing problems (I think my friends actually has a problem)..........Don't ask me what bushing/where its at, I have no idea. I have just heard from more than one person that they have had a problem with them. My local speed shop says the only shifter they push for the s197s is the newer billet hurst shifter (and thats after using all the others)

okay here are two nitrous runs focused on the wide band, also a couple pics of the data log,,,its still spiking .......as i was datalogging a skyline pulled up and wanted to run, so we went, well i had him till mid third then he jumped out 1 and a half cars and stayed there...turns out he is pushing 600 horse and trappes 11.2 in the quarter!!!

Anyway telll me what you guys think.

Both these runs are from a second gear roll, window hits at 3000 rpm shifting at 6400 rpm.

I run the MGW shifter and I like it a lot. I have probably 15 or 20 passes down the strip on it and to autocross events.... No problems.

Not to steal your thread but how do u kno if the throw out bearing is going bad.cause sometimes in the morning when my car is cold and i start to drive i get a whineing noise frokm my clutch. I have the spec 3 and aluminum flywheel

Usually when people say a cam only camaro, it means that it has full bolt on's and exhaust too, I can definitely see how "cam only" would be confusing.
