I heard stockers are good for 380rwhp and then you need to upgrade! N2O in Tn is legal in the car on the street as long as the line is not hooked to the bottle! Detective told me that!

I have the Ford service manual and I've read it a few times. I think I can do it but I've never done anything that involved with a motor. Only thing I've done has been a cam swap. Well one shop quoted me $1800 to install heads, cams w/ lockouts.....HOLY FUCK. He also said he'll tune it for free since he really hasn't messed with 05+ stangs much but he's helped people tune their cars.
Looks like I'll read some more til I get comfortable with doing it

Damn that's high!!!!! A nsr cam/longtube header install down here is 1100-1200 not including tuning, so I think you're getting not much worse quotes than what you would down here LOL, but I still wouldn't pay 1800 do get heads/cams done, If I had my way I'd install those sob's myself. |

When I think of OK i think of driving 80 I think it is, man the state is a long drive. by that point i have been in the truck 18 hours or something anyway, bored silly, and there aint much to look at on that highway. no offense, but i hate driving that part. Always glad to hit wyoming. wyoming utah and montana are beautiful states.
Took my GF's explorer with a 6er in it once, that thing was working when going into the wind. my cherokee with a v8 did better. OK and Wyoming, the wind is always blowing. |

You should try driving between Lawton and OKC with a Softtop Jeep and a 4 banger. If there's a headwind I have trouble getting up to 65!
