Window Problem

I pulled the car in the garage last weekend with the windows down. When I shut the drivers door it didn't sound right. Something broke or got off track. Now the window tries to go up but it's hitting the outside moulding. The car is under warranty but taking it in is a hassle. Just wondering how hard it is to remove the door panel. Anyone else have this problem?

to remove the door panel isnt that bad but to mess with the upholstury is whats going to be the hard part. best to either take it in on warrenty-FREE, but a hassle and may take upto a week or more, or just go to a mechanics shop.

like i said if you know what your doing with the interior than do it if not let a trained profesional do it

I played around with it today and reached in with my fingers to line it up with the opening. I raised the window thinking I would leave it like that until I get it into Ford and now it's working fine. I'll talk to the main service manager at my local dealer and see what he thinks. Something isn't right so I will have it looked at.

You might have already fixed it by inadvertantly recalibrating it. When they get out of whack: You sit inside with the doors closed and hold the button all the way down and then hold the button all the way up and then it relearns and seals correctly.
