Future 05-09 owner with a few questions...

So I'm currently the owner of a 92 lx stang but I will be selling it early next year in hopes of getting a 05-09 gt. I was looking at a few mods etc cause I def wont be keeping this stock for very long.

The first think im probably gonna do is exhaust and I really like the slp setup and wanted to know which one was louder the loudmouths or power flo axle back.

Also I had been looking into superchargers also but I was wanting to know if anybody with a whipple has an aftermarket intake like the jlt or does anybody even make an aftermarket intake for the twin screw superchargers.

Anyway just getting some ideas for now and also anybody running any good numbers with an auto?

The loudmouth is louder; It is a muffler delete. I don't believe that aftermarket CAIs will fit a whipple due to where the throttle body is. There are also plenty of autos that are running excellent numbers. I think that you will love the car if you purchase one.

well don't get the loudmouths unless you for sure are getting a supercharger real soon. i made that mistake. They don't provide enough back pressure and got like a 20hp loss really doggish on take offs. although they sounds so awesome.
First things i would get.
Throttle Body -> Headers/xpipe-> then Cold Air Depending on if you choose to get a SC soon -> Tune it up -> clutch to handle all that bolt on power, run that for a while and if u still need more i would get some suspension work done then breaks then more Hp. if you want to do it evenly or you could just go straight for the SC set up.

I'd believe that he lost some torque down low and gained a few hp up top.

I'd want to see dyno confirmation before I was spouting numbers, though.

Skip the throttle body. It is not useful until higher power levels.

just depends on how fast you plan on getting parts. i was just spouting numbers true but take off in every gear was extremely dogish so much so i took them off the next day a put stock back on. =D
and i did get a considerable gain from the TB very noticeable.
