HID Fogs
I finally broke down and istalled a set of 6K HID lamps in my fog lights. The install was pretty straight forward. Holy shit, what a difference, I'm hooked, now I'm going to upgrade the headlights too.

What kit did you go with? I have the AM 8k Headlight HID's and they where ridiculously easy. I want to get some 4,300K HIDs for my Pony Package fog lights but I need to buy a harness for them first.

I didn't know about them when I ordered mine. I'm definitely getting my fog HID's from there though.

They do the exact opposite. As long as you get quality kits you'll be fine. Some HID's actually use 35w which is less than the stock bulbs which is why you need a ballast.

There are some light enclosures that, if you put HID's in, will melt, usually from what I heard its only happening in projctor type headlights (the enclosure is really small, not much ventilation). There are a bunch of people on this forum that run HID's from that company for a while now and I have not heard any complaints so far.................
