Drove The Car!!
drove it with the new TR6060 and 4.56 gears today for the first time...the install wasn't bad. I just have to do a toggle switch for reverse so i can disengage the reverse lockout to get into reverse haha.
DRIVES INCREDIBLE....there is zero chatter in the RAM powergrip HD clutch and shifting is UNBELEIVABLY smooth compared to the TR3650....so toggle switch and a 500 mile break in and shes good to go my friends...

Thats cool and all but why put a 6spd in if you have to put a toggle switch in to make it go in reverse

I'm on the same page, if there isn't a better way to make that more like a normal every day interaction, then forget it in my opinion. For the outlay in money it better work in gthe car with no gimmicks to get full daily driver functionality.

You can push through the solenoid to get into reverse, that's what I do.

Apparently the toggle is due to leaving out a resistance piece that makes it progressively harder to push the stick right. The upside: easier and quicker shifts into 5th and 6th. The downside: potential misshift of going into R instead of 5th. Thus the toggle switch to lockout R until it's intended. Im guessing the toggle isn't needed if the resistance piece isn't removed.

taking a transmission in and out isn't a lot of labor...it takes me 35 min to drop the tranny on a lift...
