polyurathane bushings on a stoch shifter?
I got some free polyurathane bushings for my stock shifter and I already have the saleen short shift block. I was wondering if the bushings would stiffen up the shifter so it isnt so easy to shake around in gear and stuff like that.

They will stiffen up the shifting. I have the same bushings in my shifter w/o the shift block, and prefer this to most aftermarket shifters (I have tried a few). They are easy enough to install (should take like 20-30 minutes tops), so if you don't like them you can always switch back.
