air intake and TB Spacer and not that impressed...


ive had them in for a about a week now, i like it and all it sounds pretty kool...but im thinkin i wus prolly just a lil too optimistic about the power gains bcuz i cant really tell if its any faster,

any1 else feel this way?
Or do i need to get it tuned as well before i can tell the diff....?

Well,the TB spacer has been proven not to give anywhere near the gains they say it will!And yes,you need a tune!You will see a differance then!

The tune will make the difference man.Right now you have set up your engine to have the ability to intake a larger, smoother, cooler charge of air, but until you set all the electronics of the engine management system up to match this ability, you won't feel what the CAI is capable of.

Sorry you didnt ask before you bought the throttle body spacer. I know they are only 50$, but a waste of about $49.99. They dont od anything according ot most dyno shops. Real good shops dont even sell them...anyway, you will notice a difference after the tune is in fron your CAI though.

i still have mine, and I kept it cause it increased my gas mileage and and got rid of that throttle lag for good!

I agree the TBS made a huge difference for me. I got better gas mileage and the throttle lag was gone.
