helpp supershaker


ok im installing my supercharger and just got everthing taken down and realized i didnt pull the fuel pump fuse and run the car dry. can i just use the disconnecting tool and take the fuel line off the rails or is there more?

That should be fine. Just place alot of rags around and under it. Do it slow. Then when you pull the rails off have to rags to catch the residual coming out the injectors. I haven't done this but its what I would do

An easier way may be to pull out the filter ... will keep the fuel spill below the car at least ... keep the tool inserted on the front side line ... should allow it to drain, I don't believe there are any check valves along the way up.

alright well i dropped the line right after the fuel filter towards the engine not much came out. anyone have experiance with disconnecting at the fuel line?

At this point I say just pull it and be ready with a few rags ... whatever is laying in the rails is all that should come out.

Do what 07 grabber said. That's exactly what happened when I pulled my fuel line. It's just going to drop some liquid out, so put some rags around to soak it up.

Other than that you should be fine.
