SCT 93 Can Tune

Let me start off by saying I'm a newbie and I'm not trying to trash SCT because I love my livewire tuner. But I ran my car till it was about empty on 93 octane then filled it back up with 93 octane just to be safe before I ran the SCT 93 can tune. Once I programed the car it ran rich so rich that I lost about a 1/2 second on my 0-60 time. I never got an error code and I am only speculating that it was running rich. I ran the 93 tune for two days before I decided to go back to the 91 tune.

Has anyone out there ever experienced something like this?

Also:

I know that I need to put the car on a dyno and get a custom tune but I have to go two hours to get to a shop that can dyno tune the car and I want to add one or two more upgrades before I pay for a dyno tune.

If you datalog a wot run i can tell you whats up. Sometimes the preloaded tunes work great. sometimes they don't. Are you using the LW for 0-60 calculations? Tire spin can really confuse that. Was there a noticeable difference between the 91 and 93 octane tune?

I will try and get a wot datalog run in tomorrow or Saturday. I am running the 0-60 run on the LW and I know it's not 100% but its all i have right now. I can tell ya i try to come off the line without spinning my tires and with the 93 tune on takeoff the car bogs down, it feels like its abut to stall or something and i have to hit a little higher RMP. the car is also louder and almost sounds like I have lager then stock cams. But on the 91 tune I have to be a lot more careful not to burn my tires.

I really would appreciate any insight you could give on this and I will be checking out the links you provided.

Thanks,
