next gen mach 1?

considering how awesome the last mach 1 was, there had better be something relatively impressive under the hood (and not just a blower or a shaker).

i guess i would, but that just seems to be ford's solution to everything these days. "what, our GT500 won't put out more power than a camaro? well, put a blower on it" seriously, look at the saleen and roush, all they do is put a blower on it, some body work and they call it a day.

N/A 5.4 would be the tits, but they are trying to get rid of the mod motors all together...

That's only because it is cost effective and time saving. They save a lot of money that way, it's just how it is.

why would they drop modular motors when they sunk Millions into making it their new choice and leave pushrods 13yrs ago

Just the modular family. modular doesnt mean OHC. google it and learn

sorry but you know what i mean. i know they put way more into it than that.

as a better example, look at ford's special edition mustangs. the bullitt - bodywork, mufflers and a cai (oh and special pistions), the C/S - bodywork, the shelby GT - bodywork, cai, mufflers, shifter. see any trends here? what happened to those days when you had 3 different engine options?

They put badges, and suspension parts too. If you spend enough money you get some embroidered seats, and a signed dash, or shroud.

yeah, from what i've seen, the dash plaque on a shelby GT must cost $3k. there's no way that the little bit that they did do to the car cost more than $6k.

well they redid the suspension... that beautiful GTA exhaust... hurst... frpp cai... strut brace... polished wheels... i find it kind of worth it..

would you honestly pay $6k+ for that shit?

anyway, that's besides the point. the mach 1 deserves something special in it's engine bay, not a STB and a cai. can we at least agree on that?

How about a whole new engine? You are aware the Coyote is coming soon, right? And forget about the 6.2. That's going to the Raptor.

And yes, a blown 5.4 is pretty special. When you can get roughly 600hp with bolt-on's (GT500)...that's very impressive.

of course.. its not that i dont agree with you on it... sure you can get that 6k well i think its more than 6 but thats besides the point... you can use that money for better stuff.. but your also paying for the name so i figure its kinda worth it... i was actually gonna buy the Shelby GT-C
