Pics would help, but right off the bat, bending the support rods might make it work.
I had to bend them a little to get my Magnaflows to line up nice.

Loosen up the exhuast clamps and us a large pry bar to bend everything into place and then tighten up all clamps. Just takes a little trial and error before they end up straight. Little tip, when you tighten the clamps your exhuast should be "relaxed". Don't be holding stuff in position while tightening clamps.

Make sure you have the support rods through the center of the rubber hangers and not off to the bottom. You can bend the support rods a little to achieve propper position.

When I did my full exhaust I put it on a lit, loossened everything from the midpipe back, used some exhaust stand that tucked everything closer to the body then did all my adjustments, and use air tools if available to get them nice and tight or else they'll come loose

I agree with Boss, it takes a little finesse.. LOL I also found that rotating the pipe with the clamps slightly loosened will help you center the tips in the bumper cutout.

If you are hearing some clanking then your clamps are not tight enough or the over axle pipes are bumping against something. Definatly use an impact ratchet/wrench when tightening everything up

best way is just trial and error. loosen everything up including where your over-axle pipes connect to your midpipe, then set everything how you want it. some axlebacks are near impossible to line up...Stingers arent one of them

I had that problem at first, i ended up taking off the whole muffler just to be able to really bend the support rod. put it back on and i had bent it too much, but it was easier to pull down then to bend it up while on the hanger. good luck!
