Nut & Bolt Problem?

I'm trying to install my camber bolts. I got it figured out as to how to install the bolts, but how do you screw the nut onto the bolt. I know righty tighty, lefty loosy. Anyways the nut doesn't seem to want to go on. It screws part way on and then it won't go any further for me. At least without applying an enormous amount of torque, and I don't want to strip it. Has anyone had this issue with camber bolts?

How do the threads look? If you have a tap and die set, you might want to give the threads a quick chase, just to make sure everything's kosher.

Oh, and CC plates ftw

The ones on the bolt look fine. It's hard to see inside the nut. I did force one of them on to where the bolt peeked through the other side but it got so tight I got scared and backed it out. The friction was so extreme I heated the nut up to the point where I couldn't hold it in my hand. There are two marks now on the inside of the bolt on opposite sides where it almost looked like it was getting cross threaded. There no way that these nuts have the wrong thread pitch, is there? That's what it almost feels like.

Oh, and "HI" Reverand.

hmm. I believe they are lock nuts, but shouldn't be that hard to turn. Perhaps the threads on the nut are boogered up?

Boss, I looked at my bolts. They are deffinetely distorted thread lock nuts. You can see that the nut is sort of oval shaped. They screw on by hand like 4 or 5 turns, then get REAL tight. So yes, just force the bitches on.
