Upper control arm spacers now available from UMI Performance

UMI Performance is now offering a spacer kit designed to fix the oversized hole problem with the factory rear upper control arm mount. As many of you know where the rear upper control arm mounts to the chassis Ford uses a 14mm bolt and a 14mm hole in the upper control arm, however the hole in the chassis mount is 16mm. This stepped spacer set is designed to take up this slop and eliminate noise and clunks from the upper control arm area. This is done by reducing the hole size from 16mm to 14mm which does not allow the bolt to shift during acceleration and braking.

i have the BMR upper on mine....and I have no clunk....am i just lucky or can this problem arise with me as well?

I assume you are still using the factory mount with the BMR upper control arm? The problem can arise with you down the road, not saying it will but could. Usually the aftermarket upper control arms make it more noticeable but in your case it sounds like you are okay.

i have the BRM mount as well...just ran into a install hiccup and couldint put it in
