have you looked up pypes mid-mifflers? i spent a lot of time watching videos, getting advise, watching more videos trying to find the perfect exhaust for me. and i couldn't be happier with my choice. i suggest you keep searching videos until you find one that makes you go . Mac is always a good choice. everyone likes the stingers. But everyone wants a different sound. so just find one you like

thanks for all the input guys! and yeah i have been listening to any sound clip i can think of and most are with more exhaust mods than i am gonna do. i am gonna keep the stock midpipe for a good while cuz i cant afford the aftermarket stuff, but i do have my mind pretty set on the slps and i did hear some mac axlebacks on a car that had LTs and an OR x pipe or sonething and it was wicked sounding. i just cant find a good sound comparison between full stock exhaust and what us 2 wheel guys call "slip ons"(mufflers only for those who arent familiar) so i am still between the two. my 98 has some no name mufflers that sound amazing and the definitely aint stock. but yeah i do know its between the mac and slps now. just gotta find those sound clips..

if you get on a local forum you could find some people that have those mufflers and meet up with them in person. would probably be alot better then listening them on you tube. that what i did for my x-pipe

Agreed! YouTube was very deceptive for me. Some things just can't translate via video.

videos do no justice. If you want to hear the LM's just take your mufflers off and drive around for a bit. muffler deletes sound like ass imo. go with mac. you wont be dissapointed.

I would work on getting the car before you start "modding" it LOL.

On that note, a bud of mine has Magnapacks and they sound really good.

I just got my sss terminators and was hoping you could help me out because my mufflers seem skinny compared to the picture. My muffler is only 3 1/2" wide while the tips are 4" wide. Would you mind measuring the diameter of your muffler section and send me a pm or reply???

Just want to make sure they didn't send me the off-road version before I put them on and can't return..

Appreciate it.

Mark

Honestly, they're only really loud during start-up or WOT.

+1. i have the LM1's and they are super loud!! its all good at first but i have the o/r x pipe and it sounds so raspy when im driving normal. im really tired of it. i just dont want to keep spending money on more exhuast. BUT i use to have a 97 gt with the 40's Flows and it sounds great with the stock H. it still sound great when i changed over to a catted x pipe too. flows are good all around
