Is it possible to "Swap Tunes" with other people?

I have a 07 GT, 5-Spd, CAI, MAC Off Road exhaust and 4.10's. I know the SCT-2 can modify all kinds of perameters within the tune, but can we swap downloads all together?

Has anyone ever done this? Because I would like to see how other tunes stack up against my BrenSpeed tune. For better or worse...

Sorry this is so vague, but this is all pretty new to me.

if you get the SCT Live Wire program off the SCT website, which is free to download, I think you can download the tunes to your computer. Once you download them in, you can uplink or upload new tunes into the tuner if you received new tunes via email, and put them on the tuner via USB Printer Cable and trade tunes. But you gotta be careful with the calibration codes and other things, cause if you just upload a tune without the right calibration codes on the ECUs, your going to run into some serious problems.

plus you got an 07, so the calibration is much much much more different than the 05-06 calibration codes!

more codes in the ECU for 07. if the codes are not correct and dont match the computer code, it could really mess up your ECU. the computer code is located on the side of the ECU under the hood. its a white sticker with black letters, usually a CDC# or some other code on the 07s.

Yeah you can switch tunes but your PCM has to be the same version.
If you look on the PCM you should see a CDC code.

The first PCM's were CDC1 and CDC2
My Feb 05 Mustang GT has a CDC3 PCM

Also the name of the software to load a tune into your XCAL is actually called 'LiveLoad' not LiveWire.

It's pretty sketchy if the PCM's don't match, your car might not even start.

The good thing is you can always flash it back using a previous tune bank.
