Cleaning My Mustang

Hey Everybody!

I am looking to keep my ride as clean as it was when I got it from the dealer. Does anyone have any favorite products to keep their Mustang looking showroom ready? I am in need of all types of products: soap, wax, window cleaner, tire cleaner, rim cleaner, interior products, and anything else you knowledgeable folks can come up with.

Let me know!

Meguiars!

I use nothing but meguiars cleaning stuff, best stuff to use. I use it all the time when i go to car shows. gives it a nice showroom floor shine.

I like Zanio with red moose glaz (for dark colors) and a good sealer.

Meguiars is the cat's ass. Also, get yourself some of the new microfiber towels. They leave no residue, will not scratch, and leave no hazing at all.

Congratulations to both of you on your new stangs. Just got my 07 black on black GT/ 5spd in August of 06. Getting ready for a couple of mods this spring - stripe kit (silver), new roush supercharger (450 HP), and a new front fascia with the built in fog lamps at the bottom.

I am also a big Meguiars fan, but this past summer I tried Turtle Wax Ice. It can be applied in direct sunlight or on a hot surface without streaking or wax building up, or getting too hard before you try and buff it.
My favorite thing about it though, is you apply it to the entire car except for the front and side glass, or your wipers will hop, and your windows will jump a bit and mess with your auto up/down function. But all other things, plastic, rubber, vinyl, can be waxed with this product. It leaves no fuck-with-your-head white residue when you get it on those materials. In fact, it makes them look even better. I slather the whole car, plastic mirrors, tailights, wiper arms, the plastic strips in the roof, the door mouldings, you name it, and it leaves NO white residue, and makes the whole car shine.
Fell in love with it the first time I tried it.
Check it out if you like: Ice

I used to use Meguairs exclusively until I found Griots Garage products. Now I won't use anything else. Everything they make is top notch.

Aw, you mean I have to clean this thing too?

Meguires?

I will have to get my lazy butt to the store an get some to try it out. I keep getting water marks from the local water and I am forced to work them out before I can wax. It is almost as bad as acid rain. I recieved a "gift" of armour all, It has everything in it. I have yet to open the box so the GT is looking ill.

Still too cold for the Cheerleader car washes. (JK)
