About f@&$ing time we agreed on something.

You really should watch a couple of episodes of the show, Clarkson really is an idiot but a very entertaining idiot at that and the pro driver that they do use is one of the best in the world.

Alright, that was a fun video! Thanks for posting it Red!

Mickey -- clarification, Clarkson is a video journalist who makes boatloads of money and buys cool cars. But what on earth does that have to do with whether a $50 set of parts was worth it or not when you had no idea what the actual part was?

LOL. Hey we both have a mustang thats all we ever need to agree on brother.

i never watched the show. i would probably like it Im just giving it a hard time i just think oh my god he made a lot of mistakes on that car. It would seem like any car guy would say oh a new cobra let me look at this thing, oh brembo brakes oh those valve covers say 32v. Well i guess a 4.6 cobra be a 4v.

I mean im at the track and i look at a lot of cars and check under the hood and just try to see everything they have done you know. maybe he figured its a ford nothing to look at.

It is a hilariously entertaining show, but keep in mind the mentality in Europe is decidedly like that Nissan 370Z forum you looked into, definitely anti-Mustang. So they cater to it on occassion and deservedly get grief for not knowing the difference between crankhorse power and rwhp. But the shows are fun to watch... ah ain't that the kicker with tv? It's all trashy fun.

Like already mentioned in this thread the gt500 is 400lbs? heavier then the gt and the majority of that is on the front end. So the front springs on a gt500 are stiffer. So putting gt500 springs on a gt (bullitt) will not be right. Its the same reason why you dont really want to put lowering springs for a gt on a gt500. Thats why companies make different springs for the 2 cars. So no your bullitt doesnt have a gt500 suspension.
