When you guys paint the emblems you really should scuff them down with sand paper or a scotch brite pad before painting them so the paint has a better surface to adhere to. It's also a good idea to heat the parts in the oven first just enough to get them really warm, almost hot for the paint. That way the paint will flow well and dry fast.

I like the look of what you guys have posted.

I did scuff them. I also used self etching primer... not the first time I've done this

Sounds like you know what's going on. A lot of people would just spray them without even washing the parts first. That self etching primer is great for painting aluminum.

Yeah, this was the 3rd or 4th time doing this, but the first actually pulling them off and clearing them. The GT pic was done before the clear. They look really good on the car. I'll have to try and get some pics tomorrow

Couldn't help but noticed the absent exhaust. Was that a temporary thing or do you have turn downs underneath the car? If so, what differences have you noticed?
