So I'm starting my weekend projects. I'm pulling my emblems off and repainting them. This time I'm adding red (color match to the car) to the FORD letting in the rear emblem and the little middle line in the side GT's. Thought it would be a cool offset. So far I have the rear emblem off and just sprayed the first coat of black.

Tomorrow I'll get the side emblems. I'm also going to add a trunk release button in the glove box and tighten my side mirrors. It feels good not having to get under the car for once

i did my rear emblem black with red ford lettering and my side emblems in black was gonna add the red to the sides but it was a pain so i just kept em black

mine are completely black with red lettering too i think that white ring around the gt is the angel i took the picture at

nice that looks really good thinkin i might have to re do my rear one the reason i taped off the gt part on mine is cuz i didnt think id be able to see the gt once i painted over it

I was gonna do the same thing when I first did it. But when I started pulling the tape off the black started peeling off. Really pissed me off, but I like the way it looks. I was thinking about outlining the GT w/ red, but not sure how I would do it

I got one of the "Scratch Fix 2 in 1" paint pens from Advance and used the pen.


Thanks guys! I'm hoping I don't have to do this for a long long time. Freakin took forever w/ all the coats of paint and clear I used. And thanks for posting the pics Ace!
