Max RPM


How many rpm can handle without trouble a stock 4.6? my car has a v2sq supercharger and i make the change over 6100 rpm

I don't think you're going to need to shift any higher than 6,500 RPMs to get the max power out of your car. It's really going to be completely pointless to go any higher than 6,500 RPMs. I'd shoot for around 6,300-6,500 RPMs. Mickey has SPR cams which are going to make power all the way up into 7,000+ RPMs.

^^^yep, I shift around 6800. If u don't have cams, u are really wasting ur time going past 6200

I dont have cams and with my Vortech my hp graph is still climbing at 6500 where I shift. I just dont want to go higher than 6500 with the stock valve springs.

yes my vortech graph still climbing at 6400 too i will shift at 6500 thank you
