New project

Painting my boom tubes. Got tired of seeing the extra carbon build up cause of the O/R X.

Pics:
Sanded w/ 220

Sanded w/ 800

First coat of paint

After 3 coats of paint and 2 coats or clear(still in the process of drying)

I'll post finished pics in the morning. Still need to wet sand w/ 2000

You seem to be on a binge man, perhaps you could save yourself some time/money and just spray paint your whole stang black. Stop this piecemeal shit and just do it all at once. I'll even come help, I'll bring beer, it'll turn out awesome.

Final product:

I don't love it, but I can deal. Beats the hell out of seeing the small rust spots that were there.

Looks great, hell i did this to my Borla/FRPP Stingers.. I painted them, i did not clear coat it yet because i want to do a few more coats and i have not put it on the car yet.

Putting clear coat won't burn off when it gets hot?? I thought for some reason it would cause a problem. Let me know, because my LT's and O/R X are on the way and i want to be able to put everything on once its here.
