imo, i think you should keep the stock rims and just put another set of wider better grip tires and spend you money on go faster parts!

What are your thoughts on the Tein Coil-Over Damper Kit Model DSG12-6UAS1? Do these work pretty well on the Mustang?

im sure about the mustangs but i know tuner cars like them for the street. all depends i guess.. id save for a base model S/C kit if i was you. they go for 3500 to 5000. for centri style. i however am looking at either a 62mm turbo kit or twin screw. im stuck on either roush tvs 2300 or saleen stage 3. either one has the big number potential. now its where can i get them the cheapest. so far the turbo kit is the least exspensive. brenspeed sells the turbo!
I ordered my stang with the track pack fully loaded with all options here in afghanistan for 29k..

but get your car to fun driving status then think about handling. you be happier in the long run

There is a reason why I am doing this first and let's just say that the price is too good to pass up. I like being able to stop quickly, sound good and corner before I do much in the way of engine mods. I am looking for a balanced car and engine mods will be at a pace I feel the car can hadle when I am on a track and not just for straight line. Long rangle goal (6 months) is to be somewhere around 450 hp.

if your wanting it to look good get springs hood and rims

if you have the money buy a used blower kit corral.net has a big selection im sure

it really all depends on how much you are wanting to spend but i assume the car has a warranty if so i wouldnt do anything except rims and exhaust thats approved by ford themselves. that is only if your worried about the warranty

Have fun passing those tests in California with all of that stuff. I'm surprised they don't have a law against aftermarket wheels yet.

OH yeah cali is garbage when it comes to carb restrictions.. thats why florida is the best! no emissions at all. well not yet , but should be for a few more years..

you should of bought a 5 spd and you would of had way more fun lol. ive made up my mind and im going turbo . the tuner kit from hellion is 4999. thats not bad considering i can adjust boost with a controller. my shop is going to tune it with sctx3. my goal is 480whp on stock internals. we shall see. still have till july to take reciept of my car. but all parts will be ordered prior to pickup and i do not care about the warranty!

yeah black on black is really good looking , just as long you do it right! otherwise it could end up looking tacky and very poor like...

macmovieman, did you have your car dynoed yet with all that you have on it now? im curious to see how much you get with the automatic!

I totally agree. I think there is about a 90% chance of failure and a 10% chance of success. It is so easy to screw up black.

I need to find some rims and I do not know if I should get black rims or silver? I wish there was a website where you could use a photo of your car and easily change the rims to see what they would look like on your car? Short of using photoshop I am not sure how I would do this? What rims/tire combo do you think would compliment the car and look good with the black?

Your wish is my...well, anyway...

I was quoted $400 by a local place (RET) for a tune and thought that was too high. I need to find some local places that are reasonable.

yeah that is way to high, normally they charge like 300 for the tune , but it includes as many pulls that it takes to get the right tune.
what color interior did you get?
what is the radio system , shit just give me the overall specs.. . see what you are working with. i tell you i went all out when i ordered mine.. did you know that if you get the electronics package you cannot get the shaker 1000 system. thats some bullshit..

My car stickered for $35k and was pretty basic. Auto, 19 inch rims, heated seats. I am also working on a sound system. Details to come out later... Does anyone know where the best installers in southern CA are for some quotes? Below are a few photos.
