choices....hmmm...

I'm trying to decide who to buy my cai and tunes from. I've been pretty set on brenspeed...but after looking in to evolution performance i'm not sure anymore. evolution is only about a 2 hour drive from me so if i ever wanted a custom tune or anything of that sort it would be perfect. anyone got anything good or bad to say about evolution bc i think that's the way i'm gonna go. thanks! ;-)

some people prefer the c&l over the Jlt....but the majority says they are both nose to nose when it comes to gains. do you think i'd be just as happy with the cheaper jlt versus the c&l?

as far as performance goes you will be just as happy. i personally just prefer the looks of the c&l over the jlt. i'm going to get the racer version it is much cheaper than the metal.

I had a JLT CAI and a SCT XCAL2 in my old 2005 GT and I loved it.

Get all 3! Try them out!!

When you buy the tuner, he will give you the 3 tunes for free!!

Get yourself a 93 Peformance, a 93 Torque and a 93 Race tune.

DO NOT BUY FROM Evolution Performance!!!! Very very very very bad reputation and customer service is terrible, you buy a tune from them, dont depend on going back to them if you have a problem, they will take your money and run!

Trust me, go with BamaChips. Doug is great, and his customer service is top notch!!!

oh and JLT or C&L, your choice!

Brenspeed does have great customer service too, Brent over there is a great tuner. You can go with him too. Your only getting one tune with Brent, and thats his performance tune. But thats up to you.

Some people on other forums had Brenspeed and switch to BamaChips.

If you want 3 tunes and want to experiment and feel all the differences with the tunes and use his RACE tune down the 1/4 track, then go with Doug, its well worth it. I had all 3 with my C&L intake before I bolted on my whipple s/c.

depending on the mods you are going to run in the near future, can decide your intake, C&L offers a street 85mm, and a Racer 95mm intake. The Street intake(silver one) is designed for the person with maybe exhaust, plugs, and a few simple things in mind.
The Racer is designed for more complex mods, such as heads, cams, and other bigger mods.
I believe M&FF said that they gained more power with the street intake than the racer on a mildly bolted on motor, and gained more power with the racer on an engine that had headwork and medium cams.
The street from C&L would be my choice...but then again, we all have our biases. Just watch for AFE, look at their HP.TQ gains...they arent near others, so I think they are using flywheel hp, when others show RWHP...just my 2 cents, im no expert...
