Strange noise


Ok so i have just changed my supercharger oil 2x now because i thought the noise was comming from there but now im beginning to think it is an exaust rattle what do you guys think it goes away after a minute or 2.

hmmm..with that detailed description, I am gonna guess loose change in the door. you just wasted all that money changing your oil. tsk tsk.

He changed his SC oil. Don't think that is a whole lot there buddy. Reading comprehenshion is key.

it was a joke lighten up there big guy. he didn't describe what the noise was, just pokin fun. go back to bed and roll out on the ungrumpy side.

So does it mainly do it when the car is cold? If so and if you have a manual trans, I'd have to guess it's the metal separator plate between the bell housing and the block. Mind used to do that and I ended up stuffing some small silicone hose that I had around from my nitro rc car between the two and the noise was gone.

Yea it only happens when its cold and that was what i was thinking it might be it does not do it very long but thanks man! Im putting over 2500 miles on it in the next couple weeks!

It's also a TSB.

Had this TSB done to mine at the dealer and the noise is gone.

Actually that stuff is rather costly, $15 - $25 for 8 ounces depending on what kind you get.

sorry just noticed he had a pro charger my bad! I guess they just use regular motor oil?

No procharger oil has to be purchased from Procharger at 15 bucks a bottle for 6oz man. I would never put ne thing but the best in it!!!!
