I've read good things about the Pypes product in a couple of different builds/reviews. I tried digging up the reviews but I've been awake for 36 hours & the ole' brain isn't cooperating. lol

Dont know about the mufflers but the PYPES o/r h pipe is what I'm going with. You can hear the mid pipe on a few of Mustangs on http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...&search=Search
They are mated with the FRPP/STINGERS on a few, which is what I have and they sound great.
This car in particular http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0Pzr09JRPg

I have a question about the Pypes off road H-pipes that I saw from the brenspeed link... are they larger diameter than stock? (Otherwise they look just like the stockers.)

if you get the "offroad" pipe, you have a chance of throwing a CEL cause of there being no cats. you have a 50/50 chance of getting a CEL for the car running lean due to the FREE flow exhaust with the CATS being gone.

two things you can get:

1. MIL Eliminators: simply plug them into the 02 sensors and they FOOL the computer into thinking you still have cats, you will have no problems with CEL coming on. MIL eliminators go for about $40.

2. SCT Tuner: Using an SCT tuner, TURNING OFF the O2 sensors will also be another way to prevent the CEL from coming on.
