tuner and gears
I'm about to order an sct tuner from bamachips with 3 tunes preloaded. I'm also planning on swapping the stock gears for 4:10 in about a month. my question is will I be able to use the sct to load the correct gear ratio into my computer without affecting the tunes I'm buying from bamachips? or should I wait to order the sct until I have the new gears and have bamachips load the 410s in the tune?

i just installed the JLT CAI and SCT tuner from bamachips. you can change the gear ratio with the tuner and don't need to wait for the gears themselves. i would suggest getting either the JLT or C&L CAI along with the tuner though. if you buy them at the same time you save a good amount of money rather than getting it separate.
after finishing up my tank of 87 octane gas today i filled up with 93 and uploaded the 93 octane race tune that i had put on the tuner. all i can say is "WOW"......the difference is amazing. i only wish i had put on the 100 octane race tune also for when i hit the track. |

thanks for the info. I was plannin on gettin the jlt/sct combo from them. would the 100 octane race tune make a big difference versus 91 in 1/4 times for a gt with offrad exhast and intake

yes it would, but you would have to be able to get that high of an octane. you can't use the tune without the right fuel.

all the above! you have to run the 100 octane in order for the car to run properly
