PAINT

So here is my story,

When I was a kid my dad always had a nice car and he would always rip the front end of them on parking stones, coming in to step and hit the ground or even hit a ladder in the interstate at 80mph! So since I was young we have been going to the same body shop to repair everything and they had become family. They treated us with respect and gave us the best service. We were so involved that we new each others lives (Like going to get your hair cut). So it was only natural to go down their when I ripped the front end of my mustang because a raccoon ran across the road. So I went down there with my new Roush Body kit ( not cheap) and went in. When I got there I found out that our friend the owner had sold the business to a new guy and retired. The same people were working there but the owner was a guy from california.

So I went ahead and had them do it because they had done all the work on my other cars. This guy though didnt like aftermarket parts. George the privious owner was always doing Brabus, Renntech, Techart, Saleen, Roush, ETC....He was the guy for the job. So they ended up doing it for me and when I got the car back it looked great; like always. The new owner told me that the peice was a great buy that it involved no filler, and fit he body like a glove.

Well a week ago I looked at my front end when I was washing it and noticed that the suspension shop had put a scratch on the bottom of the car. No big deal, well when I saw that the front end was bubbling too, I almost lost my stomach. Over the next couple of days the paint was getting worse, coming of the car in sheets. So I took the car down to my body shop and they said that it was coming right off the plastic. That Roush didnt put a good primer coat on the car. So I called Roush and found out that they dont prime the peices, they come right out of the mold and ship.

So it turns out that my body shop didnt prime my piece, placed peices on the wrong place, and didnt read the directions. I am so mad at this guy and I am going to ruin a great relationship with these people because of one person who didnt value a long time customer.

I will post pictures of the damage. The only good that came from this is that I am getting a letter from the new owner stating that its the primer that went bad and Roush needs to pay for it. He is basically giving me the paperwork to take him to court if he doenst want to fix what he did!!!

You have a good case for a lawsuit. All you need to do is prove negligence. Take pictures and get an official statement from Roush. You should also take it to another body shop for damage repair estimation. Use that $ amount as your compensation claim. This is what our court system is for. A REAL honest to god case..and not some waste of taxpayer $
It may also not be a bad idea to write a nice certified letter to the shop that messed it up and ask them if they wish to rectify the situation as to avoid legal action. Its not a threat, but once the bus sees you are serious, they may fix the prob

#$%^&@.

They will fix it if they had any sense. Just don't go too crazy. (Until it's time to)

What am I saying, I would have lost it already.

Good Luck!

Damn
