Hood paint chip ...any fix?

I had some pea gravel nail my hood drivers side corner. It chipped the black clearcoat down to metal. Its about 1/8 inch by 1/16 inch. Any advise on a fix ? I've waxed it well as to protect it now. Is there a touch up kit ??? Thanks

It sucks when that stuff happens to nice, new cars. I've got a few rock chips on my front bumper on my 06

Had a dog chew on my front bumper on both left and right sides. A story I couldn't even make up. The scratches run pretty deep, through paint and into plastic and in the first two weeks of having my mustang.

It's great to know they have it available.Whatever happened to the 3.95 bottle of touchup paint though? 40 dollars is alot to hit a nick.

Go to paint store and get a can of "Acryla clean" I dont think I spelled that right but it is a wax & grease remover that painters use. I have used it a lot when I paint motorcycle parts, works real good......JM

Did you know that Dawn Liquid Dish Detergent Strips Wax off?

Wash the Area with Dawn 50/50 mix, Rinse and Clean with Rubbing Alcohol. This will do the trick
