need help....i'm installing my JLT CAI.....
I've pretty much gotten it together....except....
the part of the instructions that say to "Replace the factory hard line PCV hose on the valve cover with the hose in the JLT kit." Do I just attach the hose, with no fasteners? the factory hose clipped on...so I'm stuck...I tryed just sliding it on...and it seemed to be a pretty snug fit...so is that all i have to do?? please help so I can get this thing on the road!! thanks!

No, unfortunately I don't, and my car is at the dealer getting repairs, so I can't step outside and look at it. I'm sure one of the other guys will be along here eventually and know how to get you going. Can you take a pic of it perhaps?

Not sure about the JLT but I recently put a K&N CAI on my '05 and it was simply a rubber hose that slides down. It's a snug fit and took a little wrangling but I don't think it comes under alot of pressure so chances are that it won't blow. Hope this helps....

Worst case scenario if you don't get the answer and need to use the car, you could go to your local parts store & purchase some hose clamps for a couple bucks to do the job.

clamps are def not needed because it not a line that gets high pressure. i think it is a line kind of like an old pcv valve. pos chamber vent
