So far I've heard of two people who have had issues with their Hurst shifter. One had the handle break off completly the other had an issue with a sloppy feel I think. Could just be a random thing or maybe there are so many out there it's only a small percentage. Don't know.
I still have the stock one for now until the Pro 5.0 gets here!

I have the Hurst short throw and would not switch it for anything else. Love the feel and feedback it provides running through the gears.

As for install, was 45 minutes tops, slipped it into it's home from up top internal of the car, and then went underneath to sinch everything up.

Hurst makes a great product. An aftermarket shifter is a great piece for these cars, as once broken in they can be finicky when trying to slam them in to 3rd gear. The Hurst will solve this problem.
And Pony if someone broke the handle off their Hurst, I would have to think that it was 1st: probably the person slammed it too hard. Does this person look like Lou Ferigno? lol or 2nd, it was just a factory defect in their product.

+1

I installed one with lowering springs for a customer. I loved the way it felt, and drove. Looks great too.
