Wow, this has turned into an mustang/educational learning course for me. I must say Ive learned alot about MY own car. Thanx alot. I have 362 Hp and 376 T - mustang dynometer thingy. Also the guy I raced at the track when I got that time had a sweet car (camaro SS), but after the race that I barely one he talked s*** to me and put me down in front of the techs/officials and called me a "bottle baby"........ I think if I wasn't a j3susfreak with a torn ACL and broke leg I wouldve done something but I felt pretty small that night even though you guys all tell me it was a good time.

Don't let the sore losers get to you. Just smile & walk away. If he agreed to the race, he agreed to the race, period. It doesn't matter how you win, only that you win.

p.s. hope your leg heals up well.

Plenty of jerks out there so expect to see more of them---in the rearview mirror.

This pisses them off, nothing like saying it with no profanity:

"Hire a real driver."

You should hookup with a mustang club and go as a group while you are learning, I went with a group called "Racers for Christ", they rent the track on the first sunday Morning of each month, they have a service and then Race. It's so cool...
I have met some real jerks at the track, most are Ricers but I have run into a few Bow Tie jerks.

Now THAT seems like an awesome way to race... that way you get to do two things you love on a sunday morning... I don't think it gets much better than that.

hey j3susfr3ak

i hear the track down in san an is pretty nice. the one up here next to fort hood sucks a fat one. it is nice to have something only 30 min away though. i doubt you'd want to drive all the way up here to hang out with a club, but you're more than welcome. i'll be hitting the track tomorrow (thursday). hope it isn't raining again.

Actually, I love doing stuff outa the ordinary repetitious week so Yeah.... I'd go up there (if it's cool with the wifee lol). I'd have to plan ahead though at least a week. But I really want to find a club because owning a mustang isnt just owning a car its a hobby, way of life, etc. . And I wish I had some friends with the same hobby (mustangers), you guys are the only ones I have. The track here is pretty awesome sometimes but the only weird thing is that no matter what the weather is in town or around town it's ALWAYS freezin cold at the track lol. Better for racing I heard (CAI), but not sure.

You put down 362/376 with a 50 shot on a mustang dyno? That seems too good to be true. Can you the dyno sheet?
