At the STRIP
Hey fellas, I was wondering if a 12.46 was an amazing time in an automatic '05 GT Vert for the 1/4 mile. Ive POURed 3,200$$ into the engine alone and have done ALMOST everything besides SC it. Should I be proud or would a SCer or TBer have gotten me a faster time???? Thanx and godbless.

umm... tell us what you did to the motor.. for 3200 12.4 is really good imo.. did u do long tubes and a complete exhaust?? what about cai and a good dyno or bama tune?? you could get that down to the 11's easy with a sc..

Besides the above listed Eldebrock NOS I did FL headers, took my cats off, underdrive pulleys, TB and TB spacer, aem brute CAI, ford racing 410 gears, 40 series flows, and got it all dynotuned. Oh and ram air hood if that counts. Thats it but I only did a 50 shot of nos because Im still nervous.

Meh. You have a Mustang, so you belong here. We even have members who don't have a Mustang yet for whatever reason but dream of owning one that join in.
It will be cool to see your pictures, and welcome to MM.

very nice track numbers...what did the motor turn on the dyno?
if you were to add a F/I system.... I think you'll need some new internals.

Congrats, those are very nice times. Juice makes crazy torque which really helps you get it going. Post a time slip.

jf, first you have to create a garage for your car. You can do that by clicking on the garage link up top. Once in there, you can click on 'Add Timeslip'.
All you have to do is scan your time slip in to your computer, and then when you click on the Add Timeslip button in the garage, you can browse to it in your computer by clicking the 'Browse' button where it says 'You may attach an image' to add it to the database.
