[vin plate ] Gears does this O5 GT have? What Gears does this car have? I have researched with no luck on decoding.. Thanks in advance. |

 Notice.. these key words in my above post... "this" and not "my" VIN. I'm approx 12 hours away from "this" car and looking at buying it.

If you want an answer DONT GET RID OF THE VIN. Thats the only way you can find out. Im a Ford tech and i wont use youre VIN for anything else then telling you what gears it has. OK. Im pretty sure im the only one who can answer what gears it is

I thought all 05 GT's had 3.55's in manuals and 3.31's in automatics. Wasnt an option untill 07.
