im getting my full exhaust soon w/ an O/R h-pipe. is a tune necessary....

only if you want to get ride of the CEL when u put on the o/r H pipe, other then that no

so will the check engine light put the car into safe mode? or will the performance still b the same just with a check engine light on? I've been waiting to install my offroad exhaust because I thought it would throw the cpu into safe mode. but if all I have to deal with is a little light then I'm going to the garage right now

believe me, youll know failsafe mode...hit it 4 times putting on the TB...but it sure paid off!

I put a Magnaflow O/R x-pipe w/ shorty headers, and it caused my car to run lean. I'm now waiting for my X2-calibrator to arrive w/ the new tune.
Its still very driveable without the tune. |
