Scoop or No Scoop ? Rear Wing or No Wing ?

Just curious what everyone went with when they got their 05+ stangs.

Mine has a flat hood and the rear wing/spoiler.

I have seen some with the hood scoop but after going from a shaker to not having one I thought I would get a car that does not have a scoop.

Also I have seen some with the rear wing delete. Not my cup of tea but a wing like on the terminators I think is sweet.

Just curious what everyone went with or their preferences are.

I had a lot of trouble locating a Vista Blue GT Premium with a stick. And just my luck I got one that needed a new axle after 115 miles. So the choice of the scoop and wing delete were not an option for me. But I like the way it is.

Also I have no stripe which my GF's 2006 has.

My personal preference from the factory would be no scoop or wing. Mine came without the scoop, but it does have the wing. I'll be replacing that sometime soon with a ducktail and possibly putting a shaker on it.

I like my wing and no scoop, but I am replacing my hood with a replica 1999 Cobra R Cowl made for the 05, and I have the wing, but will be either putting a ducktail spoiler, or a Cobra R wing...

i have both the wing and the gt appearance package scoop. i love the scoop, but think i will make it functional. also if i keep the factory wing i will move it back to where it is flush with the back of the trunk.

the only thing I dont like about some of the new hoods is that they dont start at the very front, they just start a few inches up the hood...Im getting a hood thats a replica of the 1999 Cobra R Cowl (no heat extractor)...I love that design...

I have an 05 Gt, grey with black stripes, I love the look of the scoop but how easy is it to get one that will match and how hard are they to fit?

If you get the shaker you just cut a hole in your hood and don't have to worry about paint. They are always a flat black.

I purchased mine with 1000 miles on the odometer - had a stock aerowing and no scoop. Soooo I went ahead and purchased a scoop and a 3D-Carbon trunk spoiler that fits the factory holes. OEM pic on bottom.

To WARLOCK- it's the 3D carbon boy racer spoiler , similar to the high Steeda spoiler. However the 3D fits stock holes

I just bought a white GT/CS hardtop last week and it came with the wing but no scoop. So I ordered one. I think they both add nice accents to the front and back of the car.

To PAPERCROSS - The center fog light grill does require splicing and extending the wirng to move the central lights. I had one of my mechanics do the install. He soldered the wires together. The grill actually allows more airflow vs the stock set up. As far as the little pony goes - I relocated it onto my strut tower brace and it looks sweeeeet. I will post a pic monday.
