Nitto NT-01

Anyone used, know anyone thats used the Nitto NT-01?
How do they compare with the BFG Drag Radials, and the Nitto 555Rs?

Because I want to either run

255 40 18 BFG KDW new tread fronts
315 30 18 BFG Drag Radial new tread

OR

255/265 35 18 Nitto 555 (whichever equals rear tire height better)
315 30 18 Nitto 555R Drag Radials, or NT-01 (depending on what I hear)

Which one?

NT-01 is primarly for road racing not drag racing at least that what I read numerous spots when buying my tires. Personally for you I would go with the Nitto 555s in front and the 555rs in the back. They will cost less than the BFGs and will perform comparitivly. The nittos will also last a lot longer compaired to the BFGs

in the front you need a 255/45/18. 40 will be too small of a sidewall. It will be a shorter diameter than stock. 315/35/18 would be the proper size to run in the rear. If you go any shorter sidewall in the front or back it will be too small.

it doesnt matter if its different from stock...I can recalibrate it with a programmer if needed. Plus the factory sidewalls are HUGE.

I know you can recalibrate it to match your speedo, but the wheel will be too small. You are going to have an extra inch gap between your tire and fender.

Lowering springs will take care of that nicely
