My 05 GT 5 speed has a K and N cai and a diablo chip and it feels very lively, with the Trac control off it spins the wheels and lays down 2 black stripes on the tarmac when I change into 2nd gear.
I am sure there are loads more with more power and I will likely do more as time goes on!!!!!

Just to let you know, without headwork or cams...the Racer intake sees less horsepower than the C&L Street, or Trueflow Intake...

If you haven't had it dyno tuned yet that will wake up the car more than anything. You have a tuner?

Custom tune is everything, screw the Ford Board of directors!

i have the racer and tunes from bamachips. you dont lose much hp like people say. read the article from C&L its not much to worry about. install is like 10 minutes. only issued i have is the MAF rests on the radiator hose. i tried to make adjustments but oh well i worry to much sometimes. LOL.

check out modularmustangracing.com's article on it. They only gained more with it when they put worked over heads and new cams.
just relaying info...

Precisely why I went ahead and went with the Racer. Won't have to change later on.

However, if only minor mods were going to be done to the car, I'd go with the Street. Claims a minor amount of more HP and it just looks better to me.

Has anybody heard about C&L being backed up on the street kits? I purchased mine two weeks ago, and it still hasn't been shipped out. I was actually contemplating switching over to the JLT CAI if it was going to take any longer.

To me, I feel that the C&L kit is a bit better quality. I'm not knocking the JLT kit, because it performs, I just prefer the workmanship of the C&L kit.

:wink
