I Have Many Leather Bound Books
|
Well, I had my car at the dealer today for an oil change, and while there I asked the service manager if he knew of a way to get the undercoating off. He called the detail shop they use, and I went over there after my oil change. Turns out they do this type of thing all the time with engine shampoo, some solvent, and good old soap & high pressure.
The guy will take it off not only from under the hood, but from the door jambs & trunk seams, for only 80 bucks. I go to see him next Friday. Thanks for all your suggestions & help too.
