curb rash
Can the ugliness be reduced? The rims are aluminum bullits. The rash is limited to only the very edge of the lip.

Well, when I scratched my rim I used a dremmel and grinded it a bit to kind level up the roughness and then poloshed it a bit, unless you know the rim was scratched its not very noticeable... at least non of my friends have noticed it.

Take her to a professional detailer, and ask him for his opinion. Using different grades of polishing compounds, starting with a coarse & finishing with a fine compound & an actual buffer, finishing off with a fine jewelers rouge can sometimes do wonders.
