Seriously. It's VERY easy to get out of a speeding ticket. First off, don't admit to speeding to the officer that pulls you over. Deal with the Attorneys. Most cities have atty's that will handle speeding tickets and their fee's for this is usually under $100. That's because most of these tickets can be handled/settled with one phone call to the Prosecuting Atty's office.

I live in Houston and I've found that you have to work really hard to get pulled over and if you do, get a ticket... It's best to have your stang' document legal, be polite (without kissing ass) and keep you hands on the wheel in plain view...

My favorite is driving around on four lane roads in medium traffic @ around 40 in second gear with the windows down. The sound! The launch!

I got popped once at 145 in a 35 when I was 16, driving my best friend's 74 Challenger, back in about 1985. Fortunately back then, cops were more inclined to intimidate you than ticket you, so after a little physical intimidation ,he let us go with a warning to never be seen in his district again. lol
