I just got the good news from my lawyer today! I got out of another speeding ticket. I had this one reduced to "Faulty Equipment". No points and only a $68 fine.

Total to me WITH legal fees: $268!!! Cheaper than the original speeding ticket by $40!!!

After a year and a half driving, so far I have no tickets and I drive @ 10 over all the time, heck, the other day I accelerated a bit fast to 50-55MPH on a 40mph zone with a cop behind me, and the cop just flew past me @ 60 and didn't even look @ me... lol

Well, at almost 40 years old, I've had my share of tickets. Many I have gotten out of, and a few I had the book thrown at me. I think a lot of it is luck of the draw with the individual who pulls you over.

I got popped once at 145 in a 35 when I was 16, driving my best friend's 74 Challenger, back in about 1985. Fortunately back then, cops were more inclined to intimidate you than ticket you, so after a little physical intimidation ,he let us go with a warning to never be seen in his district again. lol

I'm 35 and I have a whole new respect for Omaha cops now. They NEVER bother me. They must be too busy doing racial profiling in the North side of town. LOL... So the minorities are complaining here about.

OK, I'll break down, I did do 115 on the main road, @ 1AM, on a Toyota Avalon.... twice... with 4 friends on the car... took about 30 seconds to reach that

I do stupid things like turn a corner in gear 2 and nail it just so my back end rips around squeeling. I do that crap all the time. Call me odd. I also love to drill it on the on-ramp. getting to the speed limit rocks
